With this tool, you can batch execute InDesign scripts.<\/p>\n<p><em>Batcher<\/em> can take many existing InDesign scripts (.jsx files) and add batch processing features to them. Most of the time, there is no need for changes to the script.<\/p>\n<p>This version adds a new feature to handle situations where you want to batch-execute a complex script that is composed of multiple files.<\/p>\n<p>While most ExtendScripts are simple and only consist of a single .jsx file, it can happen that you have to automate a script which is distributed over multiple files.<\/p>\n<p>You can handle some these cases by using the <em>ScriptFile=&#8230;<\/em> setting in the <em>Batcher<\/em> <em>config.ini<\/em> file, and make the script files reside in a different folder than the <em>Batcher<\/em> application.<\/p>\n<p>But for more complex situations that is not flexible enough.<\/p>\n<p>The latest <em>Batcher<\/em> offers a solution: you can now add one of two text files to the collection of .jsx files in the <em>Batcher<\/em> folder.<\/p>\n<p>You can add a file called <em>omit.txt<\/em>, and list the script files to be omitted by <em>Batcher<\/em>, one per line.<\/p>\n<p>Or you can add a file called <em>only.txt<\/em> and list the script files to be automated by <em>Batcher<\/em>, one per line.
