{"id":2057,"date":"2009-11-26T19:23:35","date_gmt":"2009-11-27T02:23:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.rorohiko.com\/wordpress\/?p=2057"},"modified":"2009-11-26T19:26:02","modified_gmt":"2009-11-27T02:26:02","slug":"textexporter-stylepainter-updated","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rorohiko.com\/wordpress\/2009\/11\/26\/textexporter-stylepainter-updated\/","title":{"rendered":"TextExporter, StylePainter updated"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This week, we&#8217;ve updated <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rorohiko.com\/wordpress\/indesign-downloads\/text-exporter\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>TextExporte<\/em>r<\/a> once more &#8211; the new frame-by-frame export feature in the previous versions was not as intelligent as it should be and we think we&#8217;ve now found a better approach to export the frames in a logical &#8216;reading order&#8217; &#8211; try our new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rorohiko.com\/wordpress\/indesign-downloads\/text-exporter\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>TextExporter 2.1.2<\/em><\/a>. We also fixed a problem with the &#8216;Convert Text To Black&#8217; option on some files.<\/p>\n<p>Keep in mind:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rorohiko.com\/wordpress\/indesign-downloads\/text-exporter\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>TextExporter<\/em><\/a> is free, but you get some cool additional features by purchasing a license for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rorohiko.com\/wordpress\/indesign-downloads\/apid-toolassistant\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>APID ToolAssistan<\/em>t<\/a>, which is only US$25 per installed copy of InDesign.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re pretty sure that\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rorohiko.com\/wordpress\/indesign-downloads\/text-exporter\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>TextExporter<\/em><\/a> will save you much more than US$25 in time and effort &#8211; so if you can spare US$25, don&#8217;t hesitate, and purchase an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rorohiko.com\/wordpress\/indesign-downloads\/apid-toolassistant\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>APID ToolAssistant<\/em><\/a> license, and help us fund further development. And, last but not least, a license gives you access to a number of cool additional features in our free\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rorohiko.com\/wordpress\/indesign-downloads\/text-exporter\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>TextExporter<\/em><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rorohiko.com\/wordpress\/indesign-downloads\/image-library-loader\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>ImageLibraryLoader<\/em><\/a><em>,<\/em> and <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rorohiko.com\/wordpress\/indesign-downloads\/layerlifter\/\" target=\"_blank\">LayerLifter<\/a> <\/em>plug-ins<em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-style: normal;\">The <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rorohiko.com\/wordpress\/indesign-downloads\/stylepainter\/\" target=\"_blank\">StylePainter<\/a><\/em> freebie plug-in also got a long overdue bug fix. In a way,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rorohiko.com\/wordpress\/indesign-downloads\/stylepainter\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>StylePainter<\/em><\/a> is like bringing InDesign CS4&#8217;s GREP styles to InDesign CS, CS2, CS3, but it is also markedly different &#8211; even with the GREP styles in CS4, it still remains useful in a number of workflows.
