This script is a free sample of our work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If your workflow is hampered by boring or repetitive tasks, inquire at<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"mailto:sales@rorohiko.com\">sales@rorohiko.com<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The solutions we create for our customers repay for themselves within weeks or months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Download Link<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rorohiko.com\/downloads\/ResizeAllSelected.1.0.0.zip\">https:\/\/www.rorohiko.com\/downloads\/ResizeAllSelected.1.0.0.zip<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Installation instructions can be found in the README.txt inside the .zip file as well as further below on this web page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Using The Script<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This script allows you to resize a number of selected page items while keeping them &#8216;in-place&#8217;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With this script you can resize a bunch of page items, while keeping their centers fixed. The items will grow or shrink, but they will &#8216;stay put&#8217; and not slide around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rorohiko.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Screen-Shot-2019-06-22-at-6.02.56-PM.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5832\" width=\"373\" height=\"318\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When select a bunch of page items and you run the script, a dialog will display, initially showing a value of 100.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rorohiko.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Screen-Shot-2019-06-22-at-6.03.10-PM.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5833\" width=\"423\" height=\"214\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can enter a percentage value here. The value of 100 means: keep at 100%, do not resize. If you put in a value less than 100, the items will shrink. If you put in a value greater than 100, the items will grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rorohiko.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Screen-Shot-2019-06-22-at-6.03.17-PM.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5834\" width=\"354\" height=\"303\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can also enter two values, separated by a comma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you do that, then the first value will determine the horizontal scaling, and the second value will determine the vertical scaling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Installing The Script<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Start <em>Adobe\u00ae InDesign\u00ae<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Make the <em>Scripts Panel<\/em> show up (use the <em>Window &#8211; Utilities &#8211; Scripts<\/em> menu).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Right-click or Option-Click the line that says <em>User<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Select <em>Reveal in Finder<\/em> or <em>Reveal in Explorer<\/em> from the contextual menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A folder\/directory window <em>Scripts<\/em> should show up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rorohiko.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Screen-Shot-2019-06-22-at-5.19.16-PM.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5819\" width=\"403\" height=\"179\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Double-click the subfolder <em>Scripts Panel<\/em> so it opens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Drag the script file icon into this <em>Scripts Panel<\/em> folder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Make sure to drag into <em>Scripts Panel<\/em> and not into <em>Scripts<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rorohiko.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Screen-Shot-2019-06-22-at-6.00.50-PM.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5830\" width=\"307\" height=\"118\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Switch back to InDesign.
